What format is the workshop?
Each workshop is uniquely designed with a color scam and a loose theme. Typically, each workshop includes 4-5 different vignettes. Some of the past themes have included A Golden Pear, Summer in Amsterdam, Vintage Winter Wedding, Emerald Green Winter Wedding, Lost in the Woods, Steampunk and Water Color Wedding. To see past styled shoots please go to the menu at the top of the site, then "Galleries" and then "Styled Shoots".
When you arrive to the workshop everything will be set up and Erin will go through each vignette. She will walk you through her techniques and strategies on capturing the images she takes. Once she has covered all the vignettes then the photographer participants will be free to shoot all the set-ups with their own camera gear. You will get 1-2 hours to ask questions and move at your own pace between the vignettes. Half way through the workshop everyone will move away from the vignettes to a group shoot of the bride and groom. Erin will teach as you are shooting the couple. There will be plenty of time for everyone to get the different posses before moving on to another location. The couple will be moved to 3-5 different backgrounds. After 4 hours the workshop will end.
Will there be food or drinks provided?
In order to keep the cost of the workshop as low as possible please bring your own snacks and drinks.
How can participants use the images they take during the workshop?
Photographers, you are free to use your images in your portfolio, blog, website, social media accounts and marketing materials. You will be asked to sign a contract at the time of booking and we ask that refrain from using the images in any type of publication. We also ask that the images not be used for any advertisements. We kindly request that you credit all the vendors involved.
